The Indian Middle Class is a hypocritical lot. They are the ones who give and take bribes, they are the ones who run the corrupt Indian bureaucracy, they are the ones who elect the corrupt government, they are the one who conveniently refuse to come out on the street to protest the many ills of the system even when others are dying due to their lack of action... and today they are the ones who are lending the most vocal support for the anti-corruption movement led by Anna Hazare. Not really surprising as the movement is against a corrupt party in power (Congress) and is tacitly being orchestrated by the second largest party - both in terms of numbers and corruption (BJP). There's little hope that much good would come out of this movement, which people are mistaking to be a revolution.
After the bill is passed politicians... will be taken over a cliff and anna will be the pied piper and the story has a happy ending
ReplyDeleteafter more than 50yrs if some one is trying to make a strong independent law for investigation of corrupt govt. babus ... rather than supporting it people are blogging how its mistaken to be a revolution ... contribute if u feel if there is something wrong not just on your blog page but where the actual revolution is taking place ... 1 more thing the revolution is not gonna stop wid this bill ... other things are also under the radar but it better if its one thing at a time ...... hope it helps .... peace
